About this tour

Two guided dives for certified divers in Bali's Padangbai area, about an hour from Sanur. You'll travel by traditional Jukung boat to Shark Point and nearby sites known for whitetip reef sharks, turtles, ribbon eels and healthy coral. The day runs 7:30 am to 3 pm, includes lunch, all gear, and a maximum 4-to-1 diver-to-guide ratio.

Highlights

  • Whitetip reef sharks and turtles at Shark Point dive site
  • Six different dive spots within close proximity
  • Traditional Jukung boat transport with air-conditioned hotel pickup
  • Macro photography site under the jetty nearby
  • Artificial reefs and wreck dive at Jepun
  • Maximum 4 certified divers per dive leader
  • Lunch, bottled water, and full equipment included

What to expect

Pick-up starts at 7:30 am from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle with WiFi. You'll drive roughly an hour to Sanur, then board a traditional Jukung boat for a 10-minute sail to Padangbai. Before entering the water, you'll complete a PADI medical form (required by the dive centre). Your dive leader will brief the group, then you'll descend for your first dive — typically 40–50 minutes at Shark Point or a nearby site. You'll return to the boat, rest, have lunch at the restaurant, then head out for your second dive. After surfacing, you'll shower, collect your gear, and return to your hotel by around 3 pm.

Good to know

This is for certified divers only — if you're not certified, look for the Try Dive option. You need to bring a signed medical clearance from your doctor if you've answered yes to any PADI medical questions, especially important if you have spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health, or are pregnant. The trip suits all fitness levels, though conditions depend on weather and sea state. Equipment, lunch, and transfers are included; you'll need to arrange any extra certifications or speciality courses separately. Group sizes max at 4 divers per guide. Peak season (dry season) offers clearer water but more boats.
